Wanted: A Boatbuilder with a good reputation for steelwork.

After visiting the yard and seeing current work in progress, the Holtzemer’s chose Johnson Yachts for the build. Perfect steelwork was required to meet the high standards required by the clients.

The Holtzemers rented a house near Pine Harbour during construction, allowing hands on time with the Johnson Yachts team to massage and implement the finer details of construction and customisation. The project went on to became a joint venture between the Holtzemers and Johnson Yachts International.

Generous space for everything

Teddi Bear has many features you’d find in a traditional home – A kitchen with a 4 burner gas top, oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezers, a living and dining area featuring full-size home style furnishings and dining table, and the lounge containing a full-size fireplace.

Wide stairwells with handrails lead to the multi window Pilothouse and decks, while large King sized beds and Shoji screens feature in the Master and Guest Bedrooms.

The master stateroom was built in the hull in what is usually the cargo hold and workshop area on a traditional Coaster.

A 2 ton hydraulic crane allows the 3,800lb VW Golf to be hoisted and stored on the forward cargo deck along with a 14ft Stabi Craft tender overhead. An additional platform on the upperdeck serves as the helicopter pad.
